Towards a Smart and Decarbonized Future for European Buildings
The EPanacea, D2EPC & E-Dyce event took place on May 24th at Le Plaza in Brussels, bringing together experts and professionals from the European building industry. With a focus on energy performance assessment, rating, and certification, the event aimed to advance the goal of achieving a smart and decarbonized future for European buildings. Andrei Vladimir Lițiu, from REHVA, represented the EPC-RECAST project as a moderator and panellist, contributing valuable insights to the discussions. The event commenced with a captivating keynote address delivered by Pau Garcia Audi from DG ENER. His insights and perspectives set the tone for the day, inspiring participants to explore innovative approaches and solutions for achieving a smart and decarbonized future in European buildings.
The event also marked the conclusion of the NextGenEPC cluster, with projects like D2EPC and ePANACEA showcasing their achievements. The baton has now been passed on to EPC-RECAST and sister projects, including crossCert, EUBSuperHub, and iBRoad2EPC, ensuring continuity and further advancements in sustainable building practices.
