On the 1st of July 2021 we participated in another workshop organised by the U-CERT project on EPCs. In March we participated in a U-CERT workshop on how to make EPCs more user-friendly for the end-users. This time U-CERT organised a workshop on how the wide variety of building performance assessment methodologies across Europe (more than 30) can come together and strengthen each other to form a more harmonised approach.
The workshop started with a focus on the technical layer of CEN/ISO Energy Performance of Buildings (EPB) standards with a keynote presentation by EPB Center, followed by a panel discussion of the 7 Horizon 2020 sister projects on how we can facilitate a convergent evolution to a common building performance coherence framework to which our project coordinator Olivier Greslou (CSTB) participated.
